Andrea Brennan
05/08/1982 - 10/15/2025
Andrea Brennan, age 43, passed away peacefully in the care of the exceptional nurses at Hospice of Northwest, Ohio. Born on May 8, 1982, to Jim and Amy Brennan, Andrea brought endless joy and love to everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Amy Brennan. Andrea is survived by her devoted father, James Brennan; her brother, Robbie; sister-in-law, Carolyn; cherished nieces, Julia and Molly; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Andrea lived with Cornelia de Lange syndrome, a rare condition that brought its own challenges, but her bright spirit, laughter, and boundless affection brought light where others might have seen only shadow. Her disabilities never defined her; her joyful laughter, playful nature, and determined attitude did. She blessed every member of her family, forming especially deep and loving bonds with her parents, who were devoted to her happiness and care, with her mother, Amy, dedicating her life to ensuring Andrea's needs were always met.
Some of Andrea's favorite moments were spent playing her pianos, delighting in her toys, enjoying boat rides with family, vacationing to Myrtle Beach, and socializing with her friends while participating in the day program at Sunshine Communities. Tuesdays and Fridays were special days for Andrea, where she would look forward to relaxing with a cold beer (or two), celebrating life in her own unique way.
Andrea's life, though marked by challenges, was overflowing with ordinary magic-music, laughter, family adventures, and the gift of her presence. To her family and all who knew her, Andrea was not just a daughter, sister, aunt, or niece; she was a blessing sent to teach patience, love, and the joy to be found in life's simple moments.
She will be deeply missed but forever cherished, her memory living on in those who loved her most.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the many dedicated care providers who offered unwavering support and exceptional care to Andrea and her loved ones throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CDLS Foundation in Andrea's honor, so that her spirit of love can continue to touch the lives of others affected by Cornelia de Lange Syndrome.
