Ardis Byrd Obituary

BYRD Ardis V. Ardis V. Byrd, 90, of Toledo, OH passed away Friday, April 27, 2007, at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born in Ontario, Iowa to William and Lillian (VanZant) Strausbaugh. Ardis was employed for the E P M Corporation for 40 years before retiring in 1981. She was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and a current member of Memorial United Church of Christ. Ardis is survived by her loving husband, Arthur; brothers, Gerald (Ellen) Strausbaugh of Sylvania and Charles (Helen) Strausbaugh of Fostoria and many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bernice Knauss; brothers, Lorne and Lowell Stausbaugh. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 28, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in the mausoleum at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Ardis's memory may be sent to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the charity of the donor's choice.
