Barrera, I have started a plant in my backyard, and named it
after you. I have learned so much from you, and I remember
the fun we had taking the residents on outings in the past.

Grandma you where one of the strongest & most amazing women I had the privilege of being related to. I will always remember your beautiful smile and how you could still go out & dance the night away... You brought so much joy & touched so many lives. It's hard for me to even believe that you're gone but I know you are now at peace. I only wish I could have went & visited this last summer when my mom did but I know my mom loved seeing you and will never forget it. I will always cherish the time I did get to spend with you and I will follow in your footsteps and live my life to the fullest as you did with yours. You will always have a place in my heart... I will love you forever & will never forget you Grandma! My deepest condolences, Your granddaughter from Oregon ~Marivel Ortiz
