Bessie M. Frank

FRANK Bessie (Myrice) Bessie M. Frank, 79, of Oregon, went to be with her Lord and Savior June 10, 2008, and is finally re-united with her beloved husband, Bob. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family as she had always hoped she would. Bessie was a devoted mother of five children; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was a school bus driver with the Oregon City Schools for 23 years, retiring in 1989. Bessie enjoyed boating with her husband aboard the BoBess, camping with the Rain Makers, flowers, and most of all, the company of her family. She was an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Curtice and could always be found helping in some way with the various activities of the church and Kum Dubls Club. She is survived by her children, Robert (Jody) Frank, Sandy Kidd, Georgann (Mark) Leathers, Timothy (Tina) Frank and Ronald (Connie) Frank; grandchildren, Rick (Melissa) Frank, Jason (Angie) Frank, Kayla Bringe, Kristina Kidd, JR (Melissa) Kidd, Nichole (Ron) Bundy, Casey Leathers (Rachel), Chad, Lauren, Justin and Jacob Frank; great-grandchildren, Seth, Travis, Jenna, Paige, Brayden, Skylar, Caynon, Irene and Anna. Bessie is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; grandson, Tyler and brother, Everett Myrice. Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Friday, June 13, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 20 S. Yondota Rd., where friends will be received one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
