Dear Family of Bevrly Gass,
You would not know me and I really don't remember your Mom.
What I do remember as a little girl, (now almost 60 myself) was, my Dad Lester working for your Dad, Sam Gass. I remember going to your Dad's house with my Father several times over the years. I specifically remember the time my Dad took my brother and I with him to Boston somewhere to pick up an old Sherman Tank on the back of one of your Dad's big trucks. It was a thrill for me and a tad scary. My Dad got the thing running in the lot where it was sitting and somehow up onto the big truck. I was proud of my Dad and as I recollect your Dad was happy when we brought that tank back to him. This happened when your Dad lived on Riverside Dr. near where I think the State Police spot is now.
I lost all track of your Dad and didn't know he passed away. He was such a nice man and it was so pleasant knowing him. He was nice to my brother and I and my Dad. I'm sorry that you have now lost your Mom and I am sure she was just as nice as your Dad.
I just thought this was a tidbit you might not have known about your Dad.
Sincerely, Lester's Daughter, Lottie
