Beverly Zimmerman Obituary
Beverly Ann
Beverly A. “Bev” Zimmerman, age 82, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Kingston Care Center in Sylvania. She was born on February 20, 1934 to Robert Sr. and Edith (Neitzke) Rieck in Toledo, OH. Bev was a 1952 graduate of Libbey High School and after 27 years of service she retired from The Navy Lodge in Algiers, Louisiana. In her spare time she loved to read.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, John Zimmerman Jr., Rory (Lisa) Zimmerman and Michael (Marla) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Kristine, Melvin, Theresa, Joanne and Elizabeth; many great-grandchildren; brother, Robert E. (Nancy) Rieck and special sister-in-law, Judith (John) Hirzel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Zimmerman Sr.; an infant daughter and daughter, Monica Sue.
The family will receive guests on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo
Memorial Park.
