Bill and I had a great conversation during our 50th high school reunion (Class of 1972) a few years ago. I always enjoyed Bill. He was personable and never hesitated to acknowledge others. He talked frankly about dying. He loved his family. Prayers for peace and comfort for all. Fly high Bill! It was a pleasure to know you. God Bless the Free family! Winnie Soviar.

John, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. It's hard to lose parents and just as hard to lose a sibling. My condolences to you and the family.

Bill was a friend of mine going back to 4th grade at Starr School. Bill was the first person I remember from Starr as he was the tether ball champion regardless of grade! I was fortunate to be part of a small group of close friends that included Bill, Marty and Jack. We had so much fun it would be impossible to recount it all. Later in life when Bill and Jeanie moved to Ft. Myers, I saw them a few times in the 90s and early 2000s. Bill had not changed, he was still full of life and experiences. I remember a great boat ride on the river in Ft Myers. In 2024 and 2025 I had the privilege of spending a couple afternoons with Bill. Despite some health challenges, he made the effort and share stories from the good old days. I will never forget those last times and all the wonderful memories of growing up in Oregon in the 60s and early 70s. Thank you Bill, I will never forget! Jeanie, Sons and John, my heartfelt condolences.
