Bill Ohls Obituary
November 3, 1945 - February 8, 2022
William J. Ohls, 76, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away surrounded by his loving family in Toledo, Ohio on February 8, 2022. Bill was born November 3, 1945 at Toledo Hospital to Ralph and Gwendolyn Ohls.
Bill was proud to have held every office at Maumee River Yacht Club, including Past Commodore in 2020. He was a member of Toledo Ft Industry Lodge #144, an active member of the Zoar Lutheran Church, and belonged to the Elks Club, the Exchange Club and a number of other civic organizations. Throughout his joyful life, his hobbies included boating, telling jokes on repeat, secret hand shakes, hanging out with his family and friends, especially the Friday Night Mexican dinner gang, and bragging about his kids and grandkids.
Bill was the founder of Suburban Window Cleaning LLC, established in 1967. He proudly serviced a wide range of commercial, industrial and residential properties in Ohio and Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Caldwell); son, William Jr. (Erin), Kelli (Michael) Kresowski; granddaughter, Jamie Ohls; grandsons, Adam Ohls and Jackson Walston and sisters, Trudy (Elliot) Eisenberg, Vicky Musgrove, Betty Derr; and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Jay and Gertrude Shippy.
The family will have a memorial service on Saturday, February 12, at Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg, Ohio, at 11:00 a.m. Followed by a reception at Maumee River Yacht Club in Toledo, Ohio at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Donna, Bill Jr. and Kelli,
We are so incredibly sad to learn of Bill's passing, and so very sorry for your unbearable heartache of losing him. We never saw him without a smile on his face or without a funny story to deliver. Many of our fondest boating memories included you. I took this photo after we came across the lake in 8 to 10 footers in high winds (exemplified by John's and Frank's hair). You, Bill, Joe, and Carol were there to greet us at Miller's Dock ... we sure were glad to see you, and I for one, was happy to get on land. Please, know we are keeping you all in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. We'll never forget your beloved Bill.

Donna and family. We go back a long time. Though we have lost contact over the years, I always cherished yours and Bill friendship. Bill was a very kind man. Always ready to help.
