Brannan Todd Sniadecki
Brannan Todd Sniadecki of Waterville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2022, at the age of 31. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to his parents, Todd Sniadecki and Corisa (Bandeen) Spisak on December 7, 1990. He went by many nicknames including Decki and Raisin Bran, but he was most known for being just plain stubborn.
Brannan studied at Penta Career Center and Anthony Wayne High School, where he graduated in 2009. It was in high school where he met his beloved wife, then Courtney Roesner, after getting his car keys taken away senior year and was forced to ride the bus with her. Immediately upon graduation, he enlisted into the United States Army where he was stationed in Hawaii. It was not long before Courtney convinced her parents to let her visit him that December, where they romantically tied the knot in a Hawaii courthouse. Together they raised their beautiful daughter Remington. During his service, Brannan served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and was a combat infantry veteran. He was discharged in 2013 but his love for guns and country never ceased. He was always generous when opening his home to people, especially fellow single soldiers, and had a good heart even though he didn't want you to know it.
Brannan loved spending time with his daughter, especially taking her bowling or teaching her how to golf at Riverby. He had a soft spot for her, and she was a daddy's girl. To his friends and loved ones, he was notorious for doing things he probably shouldn't have but those moments made for the best stories- just ask his siblings. He loved all foods, especially peanut butter and honey, potato chips, and meat. He loved to smoke meat which made up a good majority of his diet. He was very proud of his garden, especially his Jade Tree. He liked to cook, especially Asian dishes from Hawaii, and loved to hunt and cook anything with four legs. His go-to drink was a cold Yuengling Black and Tan which only elevated his loud, boisterous voice which will be missed by so many.
Brannan was a confident and unique man unlike anyone else you knew. He was that outgoing, loud, opinionated jerk that set out to be a story maker. He was not a follower and walked to the beat of his own drum. Despite his playful demeanor, he would drop everything to help his family and friends, was so helpful in helping to ease stress, and was deep-down very caring. He is very much loved by all who knew him. As he and his comrades would say to one another, "Til' Valhalla, Brother".
Brannan was preceded in death by his father, Todd Sniadecki; step-fathers, Alan Spisak, John Tolford; grandfather, Gerald Sniadecki; mother-in-law, Sharon L. Roesner. He is survived by his loving wife, Courtney Sniadecki; mother, Corisa Spisak; siblings, Chalcye (Lorenzo) Atkins, Chase (Michelle) Sniadecki, Johanna Tolford; daughter, Remington Sniadecki; father-in-law, Michael Roesner; brother-in-law, Michael S.; sister-in-law, Colleen (Josh) Bickel; and many other great- grandparents; grandparents; nieces; nephews; and friends.
A visitation will take place on Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 2-7 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W Sylvania Ave., Toledo. A funeral service with military honors will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers and condolences may be sent to the family at
