I studied Art History in her classes from antiquity through Baroque and Rococo, and thoroughly enjoyed them. I last saw her in May of '87.She and Peter were visiting The Collingwood Arts Center, and I made an appointment to return the visit the following week. But fate intervened and I started my 30 year career that day and missed it. I'm sorry.

Dear Mr. Elloian,
We are saddened by Mrs. Elloian's passing and sorry for your loss. The wonderful endeavors and experiences mentioned in your eulogy reminded us of what we imagined about Mrs. Elloian from knowing her through her art history classes. Much of our fascination with art was fortified through Mrs. Elloian's inspired and stimulating teaching.
Sincerely,
Bob & Maureen Garcia

Dear Peter,
Condolences from Jim and Kathy Butler. I always showed prints of Carolyn's in my lithography classes. They were wonderfully crafted and very mysterious images.

My sympathies. I remember learning printmaking through the Museum's Saturday classes and then watching Dad but most of all, I remember you both coming to parties at our house. Her artwork will live on, and be a lasting legacy.

I wish to send my condolences for your loss. She was an excellent educator, and I am in debt to her for the knowledge she gave me concerning, renaissance art. The mention of Lacoste gives me great memories of a trip I was fortunate to go and see, thanks to a note from Mr. Elloian. All thoughts and prayers to you all.

Dear Pete and Cybele,
Saddened to hear of Carolyn's death. Saddened to hear you have lost your partner and soul mate, who shared your passions for life and the arts. She was a remarkable woman and artist and her loss will be felt by her community, as well as by her friends.
We have thought and spoken of you often over the years. You are in our prayers.
Fondly,
Jo & George Asadorian

I was blessed to have Ms. Autry as my art history professor many years ago and was inspired by her meticulous passion for knowledge and her dedication to her students. What a truly elegant, gracious and beautiful soul. My heart goes out to her family; surely the love story of the "dynamic duo", Mr. E. and his sweet bride, lives on.
