Catherine CAMPBELL Obituary

CAMPBELL Catherine E. Catherine E. "Kay" Campbell, age 93, of Holland, Ohio, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at her home. She was born in Monclova on November 1, 1917, to Charles and Claire (Holloway) Mayhorn and on January 27, 1943, she married John Campbell Sr., who preceded her in death on March 2, 1995. Catherine was employed by the South Toledo YMCA where she worked at the front desk for many years. She was later employed by American Lincoln in the Accounts Receivable Department, retiring in 1982. She was a lifetime member of the Collingwood Presbyterian Church where she was active in the church Guild. Catherine was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Business Professional Women BPW, Maumee Chapter. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine "Cathi" Bailey; son, John "Jack" (Colleen) Campbell Jr.; grandchildren, Lauren and Lance Bailey, as well as John, Sara and Mary Campbell. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 4-8 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Robert Anderson, officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may do so in her name to the Toledo Humane Society. I remember you talking about how close you were with her - literally :) as back door neigbors, taking care of her and all the land and the goats. She sounds like she was an amazing woman!
