Charlotte Alexander Obituary

Charlotte "Lonie" Alexander

Charlotte "Lonie" Alexander passed away Monday June 25, 2018 in Ebied Hospice Residence surrounded by her family at the age of 77. She was born December 17, 1940 in Perrysburg to George J. and Annette (Gravier) Misson and graduated from Devilbiss High School in 1958.

Lonie was a bartender at Miracle Lanes Bowling Alley for over 30 years where she was beloved by all the patrons and bowlers. She was an avid bowler and golfer, even having a Hole-in-One. Lonie was quite the gamer, playing cards, board games and bunco with her friends and family. She enjoyed going on Casino trips, playing bingo and even appeared on Ohio Lottery's Cash Explosion. Gardening was also a passion of hers. Her family and friends would always count on her baked goods (that were second to none) for any special event, birthday and especially the Christmas Holiday.

Lonie is preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband Ken Alexander. She is survived by her sons Ken (Mary), Tim (Shannon), Steve (Carol); daughter Kelly; grandchildren Kenny (Janna), Abby (Ryan), Alexis (Scott), Meaghan, Melissa (Dan), Tim, Amanda (Jeff), Samantha, Jessica, Corey, Kevin and Kayla (Kory); sixteen great grandchildren; brothers George (Ronnie) Misson, Jim (Linda) Misson, Tom (Judy) Misson; sister Lynn (John) Shouse and longtime significant other Bill Sellers.

Her family will be receiving friends Friday at the Castillo Funeral Home, 1757 Tremainsville Rd. from 2- 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family would like to thank and direct memorial tributes to Ebeid Hospice Residence for their exceptional care.

I am so sorry to hear this my prayers are with you all. I looked up to Lonie when I lived by her and she has always been in my thoughts. I remember how her and her friend Carol hung out together and at one time I asked her if I could take a picture of her and Carol wish I knew where that photo was now. I know she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
