When Charmian joined the science staff at East Doncaster High she was a first year out teacher and I was one of the staff. We quickly became good friends. I remember doing many things together: meals, movies, pottery lessons ot name a few. What a wonderful person! My thoughts continue to be with Chloe, Dale and the extended family. Remember the precious times together.

Shocking news. Charm was one of the kindest people I have ever met. Always willing to help. She helped me during my honours year at La Trobe and also cooked me a wonderful curry when I visited. My thoughts are with her children.

My deepest sympathy to my dearest friends, the Nathanielsz and to the Aherns. I shall always remember Charm's warm and beautiful smile. I was happy to meet Leigh and to visit Steelscreek on
one of my trips to Melbourne. May you both rest in peace. Dale and Chloe, I am sorry for your terrible loss.

AHERN, Charmian Patricia Elaine. Beloved, gentle sister of my dearest friend Jeni and aunt to my God-son Tristan. So tragically lost on February 7, 2009, a unique and beautiful soul.
