Chester Lee



Chester Lee Dixon, 55, of Toledo, OH, peacefully slipped from this life Tuesday, June 26, 2013 at UTMC.

Chester was born in Drew, MS to Bernice Armstrong and Daisy Mae Dixon. Chester and his family moved to Toledo in the late 60's and made their home here. Chester worked various jobs until his retirement in 2002.

Preceded in death are mother and father; brother, James Dixon.

Left to cherish his memories are children, Chester Newsome, Margarita Dixon, Jamar Dixon and Makayla Dixon; brother, Jefferey Dixon; sisters, Carrie Shaffer and Annie Dixon; 9 grandchildren and many special uncles; aunts; nephews; nieces and cousins. The family wishes to thank the staff at UTMC and Greenfield Health Systems for their exceptional care, love and support for Chester and the family. "If Love could have sustained your Life...you would have lived forever."

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2013, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Wake services are Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. all at The House of Day Chapel. Burial at Forest Cemetery. Bishop Brown, officiating. Please sign guestbook at
