Christine Schlagheck Obituary

Christine "Chris" Schlagheck

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Schlagheck, of Ottawa Lake, MI, at her home surrounded by her loved ones and in her husband's arms on March 12, 2024. Chris fought 2 forms of dementia for the past 6 years. For the past 53 years we have been the love of each other's life, best friends and she was a loving mother.

She is survived by her husband, Don Schlagheck; and children, Dawn and Brian. Chris had a beautiful smile and a loving soul. We will miss her terribly.

Per her wishes there will be no public viewing but a private Celebration of her life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.

We would like to express our great appreciation for the hospice care provided by her team at our home from Elara Caring for their loving, respectful and professional services in Chris's final days.
