Its been some years since I have seen Chris. He was a big part of our group of friends and our home. Chris traveled with us to NY to do a bit of treasure hunting. Did not find any treasure but we did come home with many good memories thanks to him. Rest well Chris. You will always be rememberd.

It's been a ridiculous amount of years since we hung out but you will be missed. I recently saw pictures of us in old Tae-Kwon-Do outfits doing sweet ninja poses, those were good times. My heart goes out to all of your loved ones. RIP Chris.

It is still hard to believe that Chris is gone. Chris was the type of person that everyone wanted to be around. He was full of life and love. When you were around him, you couldn't help but feel good and be in a good mood. He brought the best out in people. R.I.P. "CB" You are gone, but never forgotten. You will be missed.

My best memories of Chris are him telling me that he could beat me in basketball, ALL the time. :-) It's been a while since Bay City Central high school, and we never played that basketball game, but nice kid.

Chris was not only a great friend but he was a wonderful person who was a friend to everyone. he will be sadly missed, I went to Central High School with Chris and when someone would ask me what kind of person chris was I would tell thim this: Chris was the friend that everyone wanted to have, he was nice caring and a warm-hearted individual to everyone that was blessed by his presence, he had a smile that lighted up the room with joy and i will never forget the great person he was and he will live on truly in our hearts and be beside us for the rest of our lives looking down on us from heaven. Christopher Bates was a very very good person! He used to be my best friend as he had many of them because he was such an open person who accepted everyone no matter what defaults they had! He will be dearly missed and never forgotten!!
