Christopher Krukowski Obituary
05/08/1971 - 07/23/2023
On July 23, 2023 Chris went home peacefully to be with the Lord at the age of 52, after an extended illness. Chris was born May 8, 1971 to Steve and Susan Krukowski. He attended Penta and Anthony Wayne High School.Chris was proud to serve our country in the U.S. Army for 4 years. He was stationed at Aviano Air Base in Italy. Chris drove truck over the road for several years. He enjoyed working on cars. Chris had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking with people. He loved the Lord and enjoyed attending Cedar Creek Church in Toledo.He is survived by his father, Steve (Bonnie); siblings, Dustin (Jessica) and Cory (Kalyn); step-mother, Barbara Rees; mother, Susan (Ransom) McLaughlin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Caroline Krukowski, Edward and Doris Ransom, and Harold and Anne Hoot.The family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel (419-381-1900), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH, where a Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306.
