Cindy Kaye Kowalski
12/24/1963 - 7/28/2025
Cindy Kaye Kowalski, 61, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on December 24, 1963, Cindy was a proud graduate of Whitmer High School, Class of 1982. She dedicated over 37 years of her professional life to H&R Block, where she was known for her loyalty, attention to detail, and compassionate service to clients. Cindy had a heart for giving and devoted countless hours volunteering with NYLT, Boy Scouts of America, Supercamp, her church, the Mothers of Twins Club, and many other organizations. Her impact on her community and those she served will be remembered for generations. She was passionate about football-especially Friday nights cheering for the Whitmer Panthers-and was a die-hard fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys. Cindy also enjoyed crocheting and cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, James Thomas Kowalski; her children, James (Nichole) Kowalski, John (Kayla) Kowalski, and Jessica Kowalski; her beloved grandchildren, Rylee, Reagan, Ryan, Hunter, Reid, and Quinn; her siblings, Kris (Tom) Shaw, Jim Sharp (Beth), and Janna (Jose) Ruiz; her aunt and uncle, Karen and Dennis Yard; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Donna Sharp; her in-laws, James and Judy Kowalski; and her aunt and uncle, Carol and David Tanner. Cindy was fiercely strong, endlessly generous, and deeply loved. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy will live on in the lives she touched.
Visitation will be Friday, August 1, from 2:00-8:00 p.m., at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.
