Clarence W. Fisher Jr., 75, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully Friday, May 2, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Clarence W. Sr. and Florest (Rice) Fisher, October 16, 1938, in Toledo. He married his sweetheart, Carolyn S. Kupniewski, in 1956, at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Toledo. He began his career as a lineman for Ohio Bell and concluded it as a material manager with AT&T in 1993. In addition to his career, Clarence faithfully ministered as a Deacon at St. Agnes Catholic Church. He was a member of the West Toledo Knights of Columbus Council # 3122 and Christ the King Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid bowler and bowled on a team with his sons; he enjoyed a good game of cards, especially bridge.

Clarence is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Carolyn. He will be greatly missed by his adoring children, Clarence "Clancy" W. III (Heidi) Fisher, Sally Hagen, Claudia Mason, Mark (Debbie) Fisher, Christopher (Paula) Fisher, Matthew (Kristen) Fisher and Becky (Jerry) Barnswell; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, James A. (Mary Jo) Fisher, and Thomas F. Sr. (Sue) Fisher and brother-in-law, Dr. Thomas G. (Lori) Sherman. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Eric; brother, and sister-in-law, Robert L. (Kathleen) Fisher.

The family wishes to thank the kind and caring staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Friends and family are invited to call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main Street, Sylvania, on Monday, May 5, 2014, from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. where a Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m . The funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, with visitation 1 hour prior at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100, Harvest Lane, Toledo, Ohio 43623. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Toledo.

So sorry for your loss. Growing up at St. Agnes I always saw your dad as a strong, quiet, humble servant to the church and to his family. So glad you all had the opportunity to be with him at hospice. Remember the happy times and know you were loved.

As a childhood friend to Matt and Chris, I have fond memories of The Fisher family. I remember Clarence being sworn in as a caring father, as deacon and his compassion and duty to St Agnes Church. You will be missed. My condolences to your family.
