Clarence Daniel Holt

HOLTClarence Daniel Clarence Daniel Holt, 88, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007, at his home. He was born May 5, 1918, in Lawrenceburg, TN, and was the son of James D. and Annie D. Prentice Holt. Clarence was the twin brother of Carl James Holt, who preceded him in death. He was a WWII Marine Veteran. Clarence worked for Libbey Glass as a machine operator for 34 years, before retiring. Survivors include his daughters, Elaine Gary Hammond Krontz and Ruth E. White; son, Bob Joan Crayford; 10 grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Clarence was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Holt and sister, Nora Holt. Friends are invited to visit from 3-8 p.m. Sunday, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, where the Lucas County Burial Corp will conduct services.
