On Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, Constance Mae Fink Anthony-beloved wife, mother, Nana, artist, and friend-passed away at the age of 79. Born on October 19, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, Constance lived a life defined by grace, gratitude, and a quiet but radiant joy.

Constance is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Gene Anthony, who was her steadfast partner in all things. Together they built a life marked by love, resilience, and a deep commitment to family. She is also survived by their three daughters, each of whom carries her gentleness, humor, and generosity forward: Jennifer (Matt), Sasha (Kevin), and Jessie (Brian). She now reunites in peace with her first child, their son, David, who passed away on Christmas Eve, at the age of four; her parents, Margaret and Roland Fink; and her three sisters, Irene Durivage, Marge Fairfield, and Patricia Ochsner.

"Nana," as she was cherished by her grandchildren, leaves behind a wide and lucky circle of young people whose lives she showered with encouragement, sweetness, and unconditional welcome. Jennifer's children, Tristan (29), Nicholas (25), and Fiona (22); Sasha's children, Coby (29), Lily Mae (26), Sadie (21), Emily (26) and Justin (22); and Jessie's children, Garrett (22), Emma (19), Griffin (16), Charlie (14), Kate (12), Jack (4); will remember her for the warmth of her hugs, her ever present smile, and the beloved stash of treats she kept ready for any craving or celebration.

A lifelong dancer and trained ballerina, Constance began her artistic journey under the guidance of Bud Kerwin at the Kerwin Dance Company. She often described her teacher as "unfailingly kind," crediting his gentle wisdom and encouragement with shaping not only her craft, but also her compassionate way of seeing the world.

For more than 30 years, Constance made her home in Huntington, West Virginia, where her artistry and generosity of spirit enriched the local theatre community. She contributed choreography to numerous groups, most recently and most impactful, to ARTS and the Alchemy Theatre Troupe, where she found profound artistic fulfillment and a circle of dear creative companions.

Constance's life was a study in kindness. To know her was to feel uplifted; she instinctively offered comfort, encouragement, and quiet strength to everyone she encountered. She always said yes when asked to help. She sought no spotlight, yet she moved through the world with a luminous presence-humble, elegant, gracious, and unwavering in her desire to make others feel seen and cherished.

Her joy lived in the happiness of others. She filled her home with warmth and welcome and delighted in the simple, profound pleasure of watching her family thrive. Though small in stature, she was the bright, steady spirit at the center of the lives she touched. She will be missed in ways words can scarcely capture.

A memorial gathering will be held at Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A Rosary service will follow at 7:00 p.m., in the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington. The funeral mass will be conducted Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at St. John's Episcopal Church, Huntington.
