MaryAnn and family. I enjoyed working with Dan in the TPD detective bureau for many years and socializing with our ladies from time to time.
Dan was one of the best detectives I ever had the pleasure of working with. His funny personality broke up the seriousness of the job and allowed us to deal with the stress of our difficult cases.
God Bless Dan and his love ones,
Frank Stiles

Dan and Dick Grob were my first two partners. We had a total of 5 years seniority. What a time we had on and off duty. None better!

My husband Gary Thomas shared many fun filled hours with Dan. Gary thought Dan was one of the best guys he ever knew and could he ever tell a story. We are sad to hear of Dan's passing and hope that it was peaceful. May he rest in peace. Eternal rest be granted to Dan O Lord. Mary Jo and Gary Thomas

Maryann and family, With heavy hearts the Detrick family is so sorry to hear about Danny's passing. He was a very special person to use. We loved to sit around him and dad and listen to them tell their stories about life as policemen. He will be missed by all of us. Love you Maryann.
