Dan will be sorely missed. I sang with him one year as part of the Monroe Street Church special choir. Loved his voice (I too am a tenor). Love and hugs to PhylIs and Roe... And all the others in the family. (Elly Gans, UU Church of Toledo).

Darling Phyllis - I remember Dan at the beginning of your love story. It was clear he was crazy about you. We had such fun singing after Sunday night service - his voice of an angel. In my teenage mind, he struck me the way a teacher does; respectful, a little awe and so interesting. How wonderful that you found each other. Much love to you and to your wonderful family.

I was sorry to hear about Dan's passing. I enjoyed playing softball at the East Toledo Senior Center with him. He will be missed.

This is a beautiful tribute to an amazing man. I especially enjoyed the line about "correcting other people´s grammar." I often refer to a cheat sheet he provided showing the differences between alumna, alumnae, alumni. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
