Darlene (Sue) Kuhl

Darlene (Sue) Kuhl, 80, of Toledo died at Ohio Living Swan Creek on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Born March 16, 1940, Darlene lived most of her life in Northwest Ohio. She worked as a registered nurse for thirty years until her retirement and especially loved caring for geriatric patients. Darlene enjoyed reading, collecting antiques, and volunteering. She will be remembered as a talented seamstress who often made clothes for her children and grandchildren.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Davis and Eva Belle Farnsel. She is survived by a brother, William (Barbara) Farnsel of Berkey; three children, Kevin (Dorothy) Kuhl of Greer, South Carolina, Nancy (Michael) Bednarz of Canton, Michigan, Diane (Michael) Conover of Decatur, Michigan; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her very special feline friend, Fiona.

A Memorial service will be February 20, 2021 at Maumee United Methodist Church, 405 Sackett Street, Maumee, Ohio at 1 p.m. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the service is limited to 100 persons. Masks and social distancing are required. American Cremation Events assisted the family with arrangements.
