David Allen Ansley

David Ansley, age 65, died unexpectedly at his home in Arizona on Sunday January 10, 2021. Born September 21, 1955, to the late Edwin and Mary Jane Ansley of Lima, Ohio.

David was a 1973 graduate of Lima High School. He dedicated more than 30 years as an engineer in the power industry in Ohio, Nevada and Arizona. His hobbies included golf, fishing and photography. He loved classic rock and spending time with his grandkids. He will be dearly missed by so many including his life long friend, Rick Cira.

David is survived by his wife, Stormy; daughter, Amanda (Shad); grandchildren, Tyler, Logan and Lilah; brothers, Charles {Rebecca) Ansley, Paul ( Sheri ) Ansley; sister, Brenda (Pat) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private due to COVID restrictions. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude's Hospital.

To a great friend and a wonderful person. I grew up with Dave since grade school. We hung out together for many years. I cherish the year's we ran around. Dave always came to lima to see me and his nice family. He always had a good answer for anything I ever asked him.He had a nice wife and children I'm sure we all love this wonderful man.My good friend I will miss you deeply..I no your with the Lord and you helped me with the Lord too.Rest in Peace. To my lifetime best friend Dave.I will cherish all the great times we had since grade school. You always had the best answers to anything I ever asked you.You helped me in many ways.We had so much fun eating, laughing and just hanging out for many years.I will forever miss you but am happy I've known you all my life.You were just a great man and greatest friend.
