David "Dave" Allen



David "Dave" Allen DeVault, age 64, of Jupiter, FL went home to be with Jesus on January 25, 2014, after a lengthy battle with COPD - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Dave is the son of Meril William and Arnetta Helen and was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He owned and operated, with his family, his Professional Amazing Window Cleaning Inc. Company from 1989 to 2014, in Jupiter, FL. He was a very active member of Maranatha Church (Cross Community) in the Children's Ministry/Music Department from 1986-2000. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1971.

A loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather (PaPa), step-grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and wonderful musician. David is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Constance "Connie" Marie DeVault; his daughter, Larisa Jeannne (Jere Douglas); daughter, Ginene Marie (Phillip Scott); son, Jason David (Stacy Denise); grandchildren, Leah Michelle, Lillianna Marie, Alexandria Nicole, Daniel James, Victoria Faith; step-grandchildren, Jolene Leslie, Samantha May; brother, Danny Meril; sister, Judith Annette; brother, William Chester; sister, Joyce Marlene; many nephews, nieces, cousins, brother-in-law and childhood friend, Michael Duncan and in-laws. David is preceded in death by his parents, Arnetta Helen, Meril William; aunt, Carmen Lilyan; uncle, Charles Earl; cousin, Cindy Lee and niece, Danielle Robin.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Cross Community Church (Marantha Church) 2575 Lone Pine Rd., Palm Beach Gardens, FL. His final Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park in Toledo Ohio on June 28, 2014. In lieu of flowers, please send donations, in his memory, to the family for medical expenses.
