David Leroux Obituary

David E. Leroux

David E. Leroux, age 96, passed away on December 30, 2025. David was born in 1929 to the late Dennis and Margaret (Lucy) Leroux. He married his wife, Sharon, in 1961, and for most of their 64-year marriage they resided in Perrysburg, Ohio. He is survived by his children, Dave (Debbie), Terry, Lisa (Dave), Linda (Tim); and his granddaughter, Morgan (Don).

Dave served in the U.S. Army and later worked at IBM for 32 years. Those familiar with Dave know that he had a passion for collecting antique radios (he had hundreds). Many of those radios still reside in the homes of his wife, children, granddaughter, and niece. Dave also had a love for restoring antique cars and, for 40 years, was a proud member of the Flying Quail Chapter of the Penn Ohio Model A Club. Dave and Sharon participated in many of the Penn-Ohio events and organized the Champagne and Cheese Tour and the PA 6-2000 Tour. Dave also volunteered for the community-based program Meals on Wheels for 21 years. He and his wife covered over 5,000 miles delivering nutritious meals and providing safety checks to older adults.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Witzler-Shank- Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary, Perrysburg. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. Any gifts in Dave's memory may be sent to the Cherry Street Mission (Toledo) or The Salvation Army (Toledo). Condolences may be made online to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
