Dennis Bernath Obituary
Dennis Michael
Dennis Michael Bernath, age 50, of Perrysburg passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic after a long battle with leukemia. He was born on September 16, 1962, in Wauseon to Charles and Irma (McCarty) Bernath. Dennis was a 1980 graduate of Springfield High School and was employed as a supervisor with the Lucas County Developmentally Disabled. He was a parishioner at St. Rose Church in Perrysburg and enjoyed spending his time with his boys and coaching their teams in multiple sports. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and will be dearly missed.
Surviving is his loving wife of 18 years, Denise (Kurek) Bernath; sons, Cameron and Kyle Bernath; brother, Terry Bernath, and sister, Annette Bernath. Also surviving are his in-laws, Donald and Marsha Kurek and many nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jim Bernath.
Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Wednesday from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday at St. Rose Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all their family and friends for all the support given to them through this difficult time and to the Cleveland Clinic for the special care given to Dennis. We are so sorry to read that Dennis our cousin had passed away. We are so glad that we got to see our long lost cousin's again, but not in this manner of course.
