Dennis Thatcher CURRAN

CURRAN Dennis Thatcher Dennis T. Curran, 76, lost his battle with Mesothelioma Lung Cancer on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at a hospice facility in Arizona. Dennis was born in Toledo, Ohio, on June 21, 1934. He graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1952. In 1955, he moved to Arizona where he had resided for the past 58 years. He was employed by one of the power companies in Arizona, Salt River Project, retiring in 1989. He loved travelling, music, biking, camping, sports and hiking. He was a big fan of Jazz music, attending scores of Jazz concerts and festivals with his wife, Flo. Surviving are his loving wife, Flo; son, Dudley Terence (Debbie) Curran of Temperance, MI; step son, Dave (Vicki) Moore; step daughter, Janice Raven; thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; several cousins and son Dudley's mother, Beverly Ann Curran of Temperance, MI. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on October 23, 2010, at Best Mortuary, 9380 W. Peoria Avenue, Peoria, AZ, 623-486-1955.
