Don CARTLEDGE Obituary

CARTLEDGE Don Samuel Don Samuel Cartledge, 79, of Waterville,Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Don was born on July 4, 1931, in Cameron, OK and moved to Lincoln Park, MI, where he graduated from Lincoln Park High School in 1949 and was promoted to assistant store manager for the Kroger Co. where he later became a manager. He was a self-employed auditor for Inventory Control Service, a company he started, for the past 40 years where he worked monitoring his employees via phone from his hospital bed up until the day he died. Don was married to Mona Blanche Harris on April 5, 1952 and was a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Perrysburg, OH. Don pursued and was awarded a Bachelors Degree in Church Ministry through the Sure Foundation in June 2010. He is survived by brother, William D. Cartledge, Liberty Center; sons, Donald L. Cartledge, San Jose, Costa Rica, David W. Cartledge, Bowling Green and John F. Cartledge, Waterville; daughter, Linda S. Peterson, Waconia, MN. Visitation will be held at the Peinert Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd., Waterville OH, on Friday, February 4, from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 5, at the Bethel Assembly of God 665 W. Indiana Ave., Perrysburg. OH. with Rev. Terry Hunt officiating. Memorial donations are encouraged to the Gideons. My deepest condolences to the Cartledge family. I know it has been a rough year but take joy in knowing there will be a great reunion someday. Don was such a wonderful man and an example to everyone who knew him. I guarantee he is having a glorious time in heaven with Jesus, Carol and all those who have gone on before him.
