Elisabeth Schnabel Obituary
June 22, 1936 - October 20, 2025
Elisabeth Schnabel, age 89, of Sebastian, Florida, and formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on October 20, 2025, at The Williams Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida. She was born in Cologne, Germany, in 1936.
At a young age, she traveled to New York to become a U.S. Citizen. She resided in New York and Toledo, and finally moving to the sunshine state to spend her retirement years.
She was a talented seamstress and loved cooking for her family. She spent many years peeling potatoes for the German American Festival. Her and her husband, Winfried, who preceded her in death, loved to travel, taking many cruises.
She is survived by her children, Howard (Beckey) Schnabel, Diana (John) Schnabel; grandchildren, Christopher, Jordan and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Mason.
Donations may be made to The Williams Childs Hospice, Palm Bay, Florida.
