Elizabeth and Isabella Sweeney

Elizabeth Sweeney Obituary

SWEENEY Elizabeth Colbeck and Isabella Angel Elizabeth Colbeck Sweeney, age 34, of Austin, passed away unexpectedly with her unborn daughter, Isabella Angel Sweeney, on Thursday, July 27, 2006. She was born on May 28, 1972, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Robert and Susan (Klapp) Colbeck. Elizabeth was always upbeat, happy, and embraced life and had a smile for everyone. She was an animal lover and animals of all kinds flocked to her and her caring spirit. She was very active and loved being outdoors and experiencing nature and animals of all kinds, especially scuba diving in Cozumel. Elizabeth had more love to give others than anyone could ever give her in return and she was born to be a caregiver. She wanted more than anything to be a mother, and her incredible spirit is now joined eternally with her baby and her late father. The loss our family now bears is heartbreaking, as both Elizabeth and Isabella were taken from us much too soon, yet they will live on in our hearts forever. Those left behind to cherish Elizabeth's memory are her husband, Timothy Sweeney of Austin; mother, Susan Colbeck of Clearwater, FL; brother, Rob Colbeck and sister-in-law, Marianne Colbeck of Clearwater, FL; mother-in-law and father-in law, Jane and Fred Sweeney of Toledo, OH; brother-in-law, Christopher Sweeney of Toledo, OH and her beloved dogs, Travis and Sadie and cats, Buck, Bear, Kemah, BB and Ashby. A visitation with the family will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, with memorial services following at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10205 Ranch Road 620 North, Austin. I want to express my deepest sympathies. I did not know Tim or Libby, however I was a student of Fred Sweeney's in 68'/69'at Libby High School in Toledo.(Marjorie Mullen). I am married now and use my middle name and I also babysat for Christopher a time or two when he was about 8 months old. I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies to all of you.

Dear Family of Libbie and Isabella, My deepest sympathies go out to you in the loss of Libbie and Isabella. I had the opportunity to have a working relationship over the phone and via email with Libbie. She was such a pleasure to come to know. I could feel her smile over the phone. She helped in any way that she could with our concerns at SBC Long Distance in Brookfield, Wisconsin. My prayers are with you.

Tim,

Jill and I have been in shock ever since we heard about this last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Eric always said that he and his friends were envious of the love you and Libby shared. I hope you can one day focus on all of the happy memories you had together.

Dear Sweeney/Colbeck family: We are so saddened with the news of Libby and her daughter. Libby was a dear, grade school friend with the brightest smile and best ideas to get us in and out of trouble at MQP. We have the best memories of growing up with her and know that her spirit, charisma and incredible nature will be with us forever. We are thinking of you during this difficult time. Our love and prayers.
