Ernest Flowers Obituary
Ernest Lenell Flowers was born on February 15, 1963, to Ernest Lee Flowers and Eva Fairy Flowers in Toledo, Ohio. Lenell (oldest son of Eva Fairy and Ernest Flowers) was a beloved part of our family and a cherished friend to many. He returned to his Creator on May 30, 2024.
He graduated from Macomber-Whitney High School and also attended the University of Toledo for a brief period. Lenell will be remembered for his sense of humor and sharp wit. He was the father of three boys: Trae Burton-Flowers, Ashawnty Staples, and Rasul Flowers and 2 grandchildren, Marriah and Traevon.
Ernest Lenell Flowers is survived by his father, Ernest Flowers; brothers, Donald Flowers (Dana), Vincent Flowers (Nkenge); sisters, Audrey Muhammad (Polymin) and Broyny Vitatoe (Derek). He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Flowers. He leaves to cherish his memory, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
