Evelyn LaVoy-Zink Obituary
May 3, 1934 - October 30, 2025
Evelyn T. LaVoy-Zink, age 91, of Temperance, MI, passed away October 30, 2025, at Hampton Manor of Bedford. Evelyn was born May 3, 1934, in Toledo, Ohio, to Ernest and Martha (Rochowiak) Nusbaum. A 1953 graduate of Central Catholic High School she worked many years for area insurance agencies.
Surviving are her husband, David Zink; her children, Cindy, (Mike) Konoff, David (Carol) LaVoy, Greg (Colleen) LaVoy, Brian (Deidre) LaVoy and Brad (Sharon) LaVoy. Also surviving are her sister, Jeannette Lubinski; brother, Kenneth (Donna) Nusbaum; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; 4 stepchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
Evelyn's Life Celebration will be Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., in Urbanski Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Rd., Toledo, Ohio. Visitation will continue Monday, November 10, 2025, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m., in Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo, Ohio, where the Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., in the church. Interment will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery, Temperance, MI.
