Florence Walters Obituary

WALTERS Florence J. "Flo" Florence J. "Flo" Walters, 70, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at Bowling Green Manor. She was born March 31, 1937, in Toledo to John W. and Nona (McKenzie) Hartranft. She married Donald Walters in 1965 and he preceded her in death in 1998. Florence was dearly loved by her family and friends and was a generous and giving person. She retired after 15 years at Libbey Glass and then opened up her home for child care. She was a member of the VFW and Eagles clubs and was an avid dancer. Surviving are two sons, Robert Smith of Huntington Beach, CA and Micky Smith of Whitehouse; two sisters, Shirley Estrel of Toledo and Delores McComesky of Oregon. She also leaves one aunt, two nephews, one niece and six loving grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home, 408 W. Wooster St. in Bowling Green. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.dunnfuneralhome.com

I am so sorry and saddened about Florence, she was a pleasant person, and I know will be greatly missed. I deeply regret not being there for the family at this difficult time.
