Joe was a good man to look up to and was an influence upon my joining the Marines as 2nd Lt. I wish I had more time with him and Lois, both had a great laugh. The time at the Devils Lake Cottage is a great memory!

Lois and JoAnn,
I just heard of Joe's passing by email from Carol while traveling in Sicily. It is fitting to be here thinking of my father and Joe's service to our country that allows such freedom. I often reflect of the lake house of great happy times of card playing and laughs. Uncle Matt, Joe, George, Granny Green, mom and everyone else. Thank you for a great childhood and Joe was someone to look up to. Last comment, thanks Joe for you helped me join the Marines Officer's Corps to follow your example. God bless

Dear Mrs. Stack and JoAnn,
When I was told of your recent loss, I recalled some very cold, frigid days that Mr.Stack and I would trudge through the snow (and snowdrifts) from our street to the bus stop on Glendale. I'm not much of a morning person, but Mr. Stack seemed to know just what to say to get me laughing along our walk. Once I remember both he and I got stuck in a snow mound while trying to get in to the bus!!! Boy did we have a good laugh at ourselves!! He was a wonderful man who blessed us all with his kind ways! I pray that you both lean on your memories to feel the healing presence of God's grace during this difficult time. I am proud to have known him! God Bless -

I'll miss not visiting/having some great talks and laughs with Uncle Joe every summer when I was in Sylvania for the annual Jamie Farr Golf Tourney. However, I'll still stop by and see Aunt Lois who I want to know that I always looked at Uncle Joe as one of the nicest human beings I've ever known. My deepest sympathy to you, JoAnne and Bailey. All my love, mike mcnamara
