Franklin Rosebrock Obituary

Franklin "Frank" Rosebrock

Franklin Rosebrock, age 75, of Toledo, lost his battle with kidney disease on March 23, 2024. Frank was born August 23, 1948, to Frank and Helen (Sochacki) Rosebrock. He was raised in Hamler, Ohio, graduating from Hamler High School in 1966.

Frank enlisted in the United States Air Force in October 1968 and served his country proudly in Vietnam in 1969 and then in South Korea during peace time. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior while at Kunsun Air Base in South Korea. He retired from the USAF in 1986.

Frank was a member of Hope Baptist Church and loved to play softball, playing for the East Toledo Senior Softball Center and the Sylvania Senior Softball Leagues. He retired from First Energy, where he worked at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant for 20 years. He was also an avid O.S.U. fan.

Ten children called him grandpa, Brian, Gina, Lauren, Stephanie, Leah, Emma, Jack, Matthew, Julia, and Ryan. He leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia; and his four children, Kathy (Steve) Hester, Greg (Jessie) Rosebrock, Beth Rosebrock and Peter (Jen) Rosebrock; also sister, Teri Wagner. Frank will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his golden retriever, Roscoe.

The family wishes to thank Buffy Niese of Davita Dialysis for her kindness, compassion and support during his illness. Frank is running the bases on new feet now!

The family will receive guests from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road, Toledo, OH 43617 (419-392-9500). Graveside Services will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Baptist Church's Missions Program in Frank's memory.
