MILLER Gale E. Gale E. Miller, 57, of Great Falls, MT, a retail management employee, died September 29th, 2010 at a local hospital from cancer. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory. As per his request, no formal services are planned. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Bette J. Miller of Great Falls; four amazing children, Toby Jacob Miller of Missoula, Reid Alan Miller of Bellingham, WA, Clark Andrew Miller of Missoula, MT., Maggie Faye Miller of Great Falls, MT; five grandchildren and one on the way, and his loving mother, Margaret "Maggie" Miller of Great Falls, MT. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Irwin Miller. Gale Elmer Miller went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning surrounded by is beloved family. He was born August 15, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio to Glen and Margaret "Maggie" Miller. He grew up in Toledo but chose to attend the University of Montana in Missoula. He fell in love with the natural beauty of Montana and never looked back. He loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman and looked forward to fall so he could pursue his greatest love, hunting. He shared his love of the outdoors with all of his children. He was the epitome of a loving husband, father and all-around provider. He struggled many years with constant pain from a back injury but he never complained. He prided himself on his strong work ethic, setting a remarkable example of strength and courage to his loved ones and to all who knew him. He showed us the world and taught us to face it, embrace it and live with love. You couldn't ask for a better friend, husband and father. "My father was the best friend I'll ever have. He taught me to fish, to drive, to love and to never give up. He was always there for me and never failed to support me and to make known his eternal love. Although he is gone, his legacy lives on in our blood and in his teachings. He was loved and cherished and will be painfully missed...Daddy, we love you."
