Gary L.
Gary L. Bitikofer, age 57, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital, Wednesday, January 18, 2017. He was born July 31, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Martin “Bud” and Betty (Sullivan) Bitikofer. Gary was a 1977 graduate of Woodmore and attended Owens Community College. He was a painter for Modine Manufacturing in Pemberville.
Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid Michigan Wolverine fan.
He is survived by his wife, Michele (Lee) Bitikofer; sons, Brian (Kailey) Bitikofer, Joshua Bitikofer and Garrett Bitikofer; stepsons, Joel (Beth) Specht and William Bitikofer; 4 grandchildren; brother, Roger (Joyce) Bitikofer; sister-in-law, Brenda (Amos) Bailey; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Alan (Renee) Bowser.
Family and friends may visit Sunday, January 22nd from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton (419.826.2631), where services celebrating his life will begin at 6 p.m., with Pastor Kenny Garland officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
