George Webb Obituary
March 4, 1930 - April 25, 2023
We are sad to announce the death of George Robert Webb, 93, of Perrysburg, Ohio, who passed on April 25, 2023.
George was born on March 4, 1930 to Bernard and Ida (Putnam) Webb. He graduated from Sylvania High School in 1948. George went on to serve in the United States Army, earning an honorable discharge in 1957. He spent most of his career working as a millwright at General Mills. He also built several homes, including those that he lived in. Retirement gave him more time for his favorite hobbies of fishing and golfing. He loved spending his winters in Florida with his wife, Janet. George was a very friendly and social person and was loved by all who knew him.
George is survived by his children, David (Diane) Webb, Michael Webb, Stephen Webb, and Deanna (David)Neuman; step-children, Paul (Becky) Mancinotti, Mark (Tania) Mancinotti, Craig (Laurie) Mancinotti, and Anne (Rick) Campbell; in addition to many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, and his sisters, Ruth Ansell and Mary(Dave) McClurg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Specht) Mancinotti Webb; his first wife, Virginia (Snyder) Webb; his parents; his brother, Leon and his sister, Janice.
A memorial service will be held at the Maumee Bay State Park Lodge on May 21, 2023 at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, George would like any donations made to Kind Hearts Hospice, who took loving care of him up to the end.
