Had the privilege to know Herman from when I was a caddy at Inverness in 1970-71...Fine man to look up to as a kid & great pro there....

Dear Neva and Debbie,
I was so sorry to read about Herman's passing. He was like a second father to me when I was in college. He encouraged me to be the best I could in golf and was always available to lend a helping hand when my slice got out of hand. I can remember all the times he would play nine holes with me and I admired him for taking his time for me. He will be misssed by many people.
Love,
Luann

There are Herman Lang fingerprints on my life for which I am grateful. He assisted the Sylvania H S golf team when I played and Tom Gillooly was coach. Not so much in golf did he make his mark to me but rather as a man and gentleman. He was class and he added much to many of us in term of style and human posturing. I have always felt his contribution.

I grew up hearing about Herman Lang. He taught my mother how to play golf - and my mother really enjoyed golf. I know I have a photo or two of him somewhere.
