Wow grandpa. It's been 19 years. You have 3 great grandsons now. Grant, kody, and jasper. You'd love each of em to death. Especially their personalities. I always wondered how you would be with then. Bet you never thought you'd have grandsons! Missing you today. Got some cupcakes for your birthday! Oh and Kansas city is doing amazing! Another super bowl this year. I love you. Desi.

Hey all, Chrissy again. Just wanted to tell everyone that I really miss uncle minner. The last time he came down, he told me, mom and dad how he had lost his drivers license and had to go thru all that trouble to get them back. We laughed for 30 minutes over that. We sat on the porch for probably 3 or 4 hrs and it was dark when he left. I could always count on him to make me laugh. I hope you guys are well and know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

YOUR HOME AGAIN

IF I HAD ONE WISH,
IT WOULD BE.

TO HEAR YOU LAUGH,
TO SEE YOU SMILE.

WITH NO ONE,
NO ONE TO TEACH.

NO ONE TO BE YOUR SECRITARY,
NO ONE TO LAUGH WITH.

NO ONE TO SAY ,
GOOD MORNING TO.

NO ONE TO SEE,
BEFORE SCHOOL.

BECAUSE GOD TOOK HIS HAND IN YOURS,
AND BRONG YOU BACK HOME AGAIN.

GOODBYE MAY SEEM FOR EVER,
FARWELL IS LIKE THE END,
BUT IN OUR HEART IS A MEMORY,
AND THERE HE WILL ALWAYS BE.
just think about all the good times and bad times and he might not leave your side. he might stick there forever and for always. untill we meet him on the other side. i know it is hard to let go but promise him you will only think about the good times we all have had with him.

things change just like seasons. but they seem forever when somthing is about to happen to you or anybody else.don't let anybody leave your side and try to make them stick with you forever before something was to happen to you or them!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Charlotte,Greg and Charlie and family. I am very sorry for the loss of Minner. I know how you must feel everyone goes through death and grief differently it is hard to say goodbye, but it is a way of life one that I hate, but one that is ever so present in our daily lives. I feel that our own personal world is made up of the people that we get to know in our lives, some shine brighter than others...like stars and they light up our darkness, My world will be darker with the passing of this star.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all and although I may not see and visit with you often I have always held you close to my heart and remember always the wonderful things you have done for my Mother, and Father and of course me through-out our long friendship.

Hello, This is Chrissy. I am soooo very sorry. Uncle Minner was one of the truly most wonderful, loving, funny men . He always knew what to say to make me laugh. Even tho I didnt get to see him as much as I would have loved to, he was in my thoughts. He could tell a serious story and it would end up hilarious by the time he was finished. I miss him already and know that I love the family greatly. Take care of yourselves. Love, Chrissy
