SHIELDS Mr. Howard Leland "Uncle Howie" Mr. Howard L. Shields, 69, of Toledo, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in the Advance Specialty Hospital, Toledo, OH. He worked for the Woodsage Corporation as a machine operator prior to retirement. Surviving are daughter, Heather Herman of Delaware, OH; grandchildren, Delaney and Isaac Herman; sister, Anna Q. (Benjamin) Brown; step-brother, Melvin Lothery, and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 in the C.
