WALLER Howard "Len" Howard "Len" Waller, 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born Friday July 28, 1939. Len graduated from Swanton High School. He was a talented guitar player who played with many groups including Johnnie and the Hurricanes and Eddie Cash. He played locally at the Peppermint Club and the Rocking Chair in Maumee along with traveling and playing all over. He also worked on the lake freighters and as a maintenance man for Springfield Local Schools where he retired from in 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. and Shirley G. Len leaves behind his special companion, Karen Martens and her son, Matthew.; brothers, Robert (Ginny), James (Garnet), and Larry. His extended family, Sister Elaine Marie SND, Linda (Ralph), Marty (Fran), Larry (Cindy), Jerry (Sue), Jeff (Jennette), Mary (John), Brian (Dyan), Maureen, and John (Pam); nieces and nephews, Randy, Robert Jr., Tim Sr., Patrick, Linda, Cheryl, Susie, David, Debbie, Cathy, Ellen, Laurie, and Lisa. Friends may call at the H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Road (at Alexis Rd.) Toledo, Ohio, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2006 where services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating, Reverend Jerry S. Craig.
