Ida M. DEMARCO

DEMARCO Ida M. Ida M. DeMarco, age 76, of Sylvania, Ohio passed away Monday, November 21, 2011. She was born on January 24, 1935, and married Tony DeMarco on February 10, 1951, and they shared nearly 61 years together. Ida was a beautiful, devoted and cherished wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her greatest passion and love was for her family, especially her dear grandchildren. Ida was an outstanding homemaker and cook. She loved making everyone's favorite dishes for family celebrations. Ida enjoyed traveling, reading, playing Scrabble and in her younger years, golf. Her husband and she recently moved to Sylvania, prior to their move they had lived in Elyria, Ohio. Ida had worked for Convenient Food Mart for 35 years. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Tony; son, John (Cindy) DeMarco; daughters, Linda Dukate and Joanne (Butch) Brown; grandchildren, Brent (Renee) Dukate and Scott (Des) Dukate, Kevin and Kellie Brown, John and Katie DeMarco; great-grandchildren, Emma and Jacob Dukate and Chase and Camden Dukate; brother, John (Ruth) Lengel; sisters, Mary Lou (Ray) Pycraft, Pat (Dick) Pycraft, Jane (Don) Dawley, and Joanne (Larry) Engle; step-sisters, Carole (Ken) Hodkey, Diane (Mike) Salva, and Karen (Wayne) Stursa; brother-in-law, John DeMarco; and sister-in-law, Angie Knight; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her mother, Helen Hausrod, and step-father, Bill Hausrod; sister, Marge Trimmel, and son-in-law, Allen Dukate. Per Ida's wishes a Memorial Mass will be held for her immediate family.
