Jacqueline Bohoney Obituary

BOHONEY Jacqueline A. "Jackie" Jacqueline A. "Jackie" Bohoney, age 67, of the Point/Shoreland Community, peacefully went to heaven on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, in her home while surrounded by her loving family. Jackie was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 6, 1940, along with her twin sister, Joyce to Gilbert and Lillian (Base) Velliquette. Jackie loved life and she celebrated it in all that she did. Her "green thumb" was a witness to anyone who ever saw her garden; she had a magic touch. She took great pleasure in quilting as well as searching out and obtaining those special collectables her "treasures" that she and her loving husband, Rudy would acquire. One of Jackie's greatest joys was the special bond that she and her twin sister, Joyce have been blessed to experience all these years. She was a wonderful Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother and Aunt and those who knew her were indeed blessed. Jackie has placed her special touch that will last forever, upon her devoted husband, Rudolph "Rudy" Bohoney; loving daughter, Tami (Dale) Andrews; grandchildren, Ashley and Krista; twin sister, Joyce (Leon) Szych; special nieces and nephews, Debbie, Cyndi and Doug; and a very dear and loving Aunt Edna of Williston, Ohio. Jackie was reunited in Heaven with her parents; her brothers, Dale and Ronald Velliquette and sister, Jeannie Velliquette, along with her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Wolford. All services are private. The family asks that anyone wishing to express their sympathy with a donation to please consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551. Dear Tami,
I was so sorry to hear of your mom's death. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Your mom was one of my favorite patients at the dental office - I always looked forward to our conversations. She was always so very proud of you, and she would just beam whenever she talked about you. I know you had a special bond - and you will ALWAYS have that Tami. When I retired, the girls in the office made me a scrap book, and they made sure your mom had her own page because they knew she was special to me. Again, please know I am so very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Susan Horger

Dear Rudy, Tami and family; I am so sorry to read about Jackie. She was a good friend. I will always cherish the cherubs she bought me with her first social security check, which she wanted to share with friends. She bought a set for me and a set for Elizabeth. I know this has to be especially hard for you after losing Elizabeth such a short time ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you all now. With love Pat
