I am very sorry for your loss. Im a student at Clay, a senior, and I have had Mr. Brower substitute in my classes many times in the past 4 years. He was very cool and loved to talk to us. I attended the Vietnam Veterans Ceremony at Clay and afterward at Buffalo Wild Wings, Mr. Brower sat and ate with me and my mom. We talked about the war and such and it was very nice.
But Mr. Brower was one of the substitutes at Clay that we actually liked, we would always be happy when we would come into the classroom, find our regular teacher missing but finding that Mr. Brower was subbing.
He will be missed.

Dear Brower Family,
I often subbed at the same schools as Mr. Brower in Oregon. He was always pleasant and enjoyed interacting with the students and staff. I was sad to hear the news today that he passed away; I did not know he was ill.
He certainly touched the lives of many students.
With sympathy,

Dear Karen and Brower family, we knew Jim through Oregon schools and had become quite friendly playing Quiz Bowl with him. Jim even made t-shirts for our team just this past February. We had no idea he was ill and were shocked to hear of his passing. He was larger than life and definitely will be missed by all. God bless you. Mark & Sue Surprise

Randi and family,
Kris and I were shocked to hear of Jim's illness and so so sad to have missed seeing him before he passed. Randi, you and Jim were and are god sends to Kris and I and our family. You do not know how much you mean to us and how grateful we have been to have you as very very close friends more like family. You and Jim were there without any questions with Roy and I do not know if we will ever be able to show how much that has meant to all of us. I hope Jim knows how much that meant to us. We love you and we will be here for you.
