James Conlan Obituary
James Edmund Conlan, 73, passed away suddenly at St. Vincent's Hospital on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born January 12, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio to Audrey (Weier) Conlan and Edmund J. Conlan. Jim was raised in Toledo and graduated from Central Catholic High School and the University of Toledo. He was a model railroad enthusiast and a history buff.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas; and brother-in-law, David Hoffmann. Jim is survived by his loving and devoted partner, Kristina Keel; sisters, Sharon Hoffmann, Carol (Dennis) Agosti; and sister-in-law, Carroll Conlan. He is also survived by Drew (Kelly) Hoffmann, Caroline Hoffmann, Kate Woodside, Amy Conlan, Jeff (Tammy) Conlan, Patrick (Carol) Conlan, Denise (Ed) Robles, Bryan (Casey) Agosti, Alison (Dan) Pierce; and 20 great- nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit after 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2023, at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where funeral services will commence at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Sight Center of NW Ohio and NAMI Northwest Ohio. Condolences for Jim may be expressed online at
