Janet Mason Obituary

MASON Janet (Cheney) Janet Mason (Cheney), born in Lima, Ohio on August 13, 1931, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and special friend, died peacefully on March 13, 2007, on her granddaughter's 30th birthday at her home surrounded by her loved ones. To all who knew her, she was a wise and caring presence (and the greatest cook). Friends and family alike will treasure her memory. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Toledo Memorial Park. The family asks that any donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, who lovingly cared for her and her family. Arrangements by the Walker Funeral Home 419-841-2422. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com

We only met Janet twice. She was a good friend of my Uncle Roger and he brought her out to our house once and we also had a very nice family Christmas lunch that she attended. She was a very nice, pleasant and friendly woman and very good for my uncle. Our sympathies go out to her family.

Dear Shirley,
My prayers and sympathy are with you and your family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I believe that your mom will always be here though, in you, and in your family. What a wonderful legacy to leave!

your friend,
Pat
