Jean Hall Obituary

Jean A. Hall

Jean A. Hall, of Ypsilanti, MI, passed away at the University of Michigan Hospital on November 29, 2025, after a long illness. She was born February 3, 1945, in Toledo, OH, to Burl and Evelyn (Casteel) Miley. Jean married Daniel G. Hall on January 27, 1968, and together they raised their son, Brian.

Jean graduated from Whitney Vocational High School, studying cosmetology. After earning her beautician's license, she began her career at Lion Store, where she worked for many years. Additionally, she taught cosmetology at Ruby's Beauty College.

Jean loved flowers! She planted many gardens and attended flower shows frequently. She and Daniel enjoyed travel and frequently visited the ocean. They were especially fond of the Outer Banks in North Carolina. She was a great cook, loved entertaining family and friends, and enjoyed spending time with her only grandchild, Ethan.

Jean is survived by her loving husband, Daniel; son, Brian (Diane), and grandson, Ethan; sister-in-law, Sandy Miley; niece, Stacy Brown (Barry); and nephew, Lance Miley (Taryn). She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ronald Miley.

Family and friends may attend visitation at the Reeb Funeral Home, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., where the funeral will be held Friday, December 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.

The family suggests memorials in Jean's name be made to the Toledo Harbor Lighthouse Preservation Society. Online condolences may be left at
